“Hovsan-5” tugboat belonging to the Caspian Sea Oil Fleet Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company has been overhauled. Thus, in the course of repair, the unsuitable mechanisms of the hull were replaced, the underwater and above-water parts of the vessel were cleaned and painted.
Adjustment of the propulsion-steering complex, bottom-outboard fittings and protective installations was made. The cabins of the working personnel, the sanitary units and the dining room have also been completely renovated. Most importantly, repairs of the main and auxiliary engines of the vessel, pumps, separators, pipeline systems have been carried out at a high level.
The entire repair process was conducted at the “Bibi-Heybat” Ship Repair yard. After carrying out inspections by the Register, the vessel will be put into operation.
The length of the port tugboat “Hovsan-5” is 29.3, width – 8.3 meters. The vessel is equipped with an engine capacity of 1,600 h/p/.
