Greek rescuers have saved 43 migrants in a challenging operation off the coast of Heraklion, located in southern Crete.
Sea-news.az reports citing the Oman News Agency (ONA), that rescuers encountered significant difficulties during the operation due to rugged terrain and steep coastal cliffs. The evacuation of 10 migrants, including two women trapped in a particularly treacherous area, took several hours. Personnel from the Hellenic Coast Guard and the 3rd Special Unit for Disaster Management were deployed for the mission.
