A total of 87 irregular migrants have been detained in the Urla and Karaburun districts of Turkey’s İzmir province.
Sea-news.az reports citing local media, that the Coast Guard and Gendarmerie forces conducted a joint operation targeting illegal migration channels.
During the investigation, legal proceedings were initiated against three suspects believed to have organized the illegal transport.
Following the completion of mandatory processing, the migrants were handed over to the Provincial Directorate of Migration Management.
