The first three tankers carrying diesel fuel from Russia are heading toward the eastern coast of the Atlantic Ocean.

Sea-news.az reports that Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak made this statement in an interview with RIA Novosti.

According to him, in accordance with previously reached agreements regarding the supply of the global diesel fuel market, Russia will deliver additional shipments of diesel fuel to world markets, including the United States. It is expected that the main portion of the fuel will be sourced through the resources of the Rosneft company. Novak also noted that Russia could fully restore its diesel fuel exports to previous levels by the end of 2026.

It should be recalled that on October 10, the Russian government partially lifted its ban on diesel exports as part of executing the agreements concluded between Presidents Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump. This decision allows for the supply of 500,000 tons of diesel fuel to the global market.
