Sea-news.az reports Shahin Babayev, Executive Director of AZCON Holding, made these remarks during the Azerbaijan-Czech Business Forum.
Shahin Babayev highlighted that Azerbaijan is reinforcing its role in the East-West and North-South corridors by making substantial investments in railways, ports, and logistics infrastructure. The country aims not merely to be a transit corridor, but to establish itself as a regional logistics hub that generates value for businesses and investors. He noted the strong potential for collaboration with Czech companies in railway engineering and modernization. Additionally, it was revealed that Azerbaijan Airlines’ Baku-Prague flights are expected to reach 194 this year, marking a 14% increase compared to the previous year.
