It is reported that there are no US Navy warships in the Persian Gulf, and US vessels have moved at least 500 kilometers away from the Strait of Hormuz.

Sea-news.az reports conveys that this was stated by Hossein Mohebbi, spokesman for the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), in an interview with Tasnim.

According to him, prior to the war, between 30 and 40 US warships were observed in the Persian Gulf.

“However, today the situation has completely changed. There are no American ships left in the Persian Gulf,” the IRGC spokesman stated.

Mohebbi noted that even the US Fifth Fleet, stationed in Bahrain and operating through the Persian Gulf, currently has no ships or small craft in the gulf.

“American ships are currently at least 500 kilometers away from the entrance to the Strait of Hormuz and the Persian Gulf,” he added.

It should be noted that this information is based on the statement made by the IRGC spokesman.
