Officers of the Water Transport Police Department continue to carry out preventive measures aimed at preventing environmental crimes.
Sea-news.az reports that during an operation conducted by officers of the Imishli Line Police Division, A. Shirinov was detained for engaging in illegal fishing in the Main Mil-Mughan collector.
Various types of prohibited fishing gear, as well as illegally caught fish, were seized from the individual.
An investigation into the matter is underway.
