Washington is concerned that oil tankers linked to the United States have been targeted by attacks from the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Sea-news.az reports that US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said this in an interview with Fox News.
“We are concerned about a number of instances over the past few months in which oil tankers linked to the United States have been attacked by Ukraine. It may not have been intentional, but they have been attacked by Ukraine,” Rubio said.
It should be noted that in recent months, cargo vessels in the Black Sea have repeatedly come under attack by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). In August, Türkiye reported several incidents involving UAV attacks on its vessels.
