President Ilham Aliyev addressed the participants of the Fifth Meeting of Secretaries of Security Councils of the member states of the Organization of Turkic States.
The head of state stated that:
– The Karabakh Victory won by Azerbaijan six years ago, which is our source of common pride and glory, laid the foundation for a new geopolitical reality in the region. This Victory also laid the groundwork for the realization of the Zangezur corridor—a historic gate connecting our countries to each other economically, logistically, and strategically.
– Within the framework of our chairmanship, we are making efforts toward the development of the Middle Corridor, which connects Europe and Asia and contributes to the well-being of the Turkic states, including the Zangezur corridor and other transport connections.
