U.S. military forces are stepping up night combat preparations in the Arabian Sea as regional tensions continue to escalate.

Sea-news.az reports citing Fox News chief foreign correspondent Trey Yingst reporting live from the flight deck of the aircraft carrier USS George Washington near the Strait of Hormuz, that heightened operational readiness was swiftly triggered following fresh security alerts originating from Iran.

According to the report, roughly an hour after arriving aboard the carrier, flight crews initiated emergency launch protocols for combat aircraft and helicopters in response to a newly emerged threat. Plans involve scrambling heavily armed F-35 stealth fighters directly from the flight deck.

Assessing the volatile operational climate from the carrier’s deck, T. Yingst remarked:

“This is an exceptionally active frontline of the conflict with Iran. It highlights how the U.S. is posturing itself in the region right now.”

Military analysts note that the transition of U.S. naval strike forces near the Strait of Hormuz to a heightened state of readiness underscores the compounding volatility across one of the world’s most vital energy transit choke points.
