A cargo vessel transporting approximately 82,000 metric tons of liquefied natural gas (LNG) from Qatar has arrived in Pakistan after safely transiting the Strait of Hormuz.

Sea-news.az reports that the LNG carrier Al Marrouna, which departed from Qatar’s Ras Laffan terminal, passed through the Strait of Hormuz on September 7 and dropped anchor at Port Qasim in Karachi on September 10, successfully delivering 81,936 metric tons of LNG to Pakistan.

This marks the first Qatari LNG shipment delivered to Pakistan since July. Pakistan received its last previous LNG cargo via the Strait of Hormuz on July 11 of this year.
