Minister of Digital Development and Transport Rashad Nabiyev has held a meeting with Cai Jianzhou, Deputy General Manager of China Construction Infrastructure Co., Ltd.
Sea-news.az reports that during the meeting, discussions focused on the large-scale infrastructure projects currently underway in Azerbaijan, the country’s transit and logistics capabilities, and its strategic role in the development of the Middle Corridor.
The talks also covered potential collaborative projects aimed at expanding the Baku Metro, railway networks, light rail transport systems, and airport infrastructure.
Additionally, the parties exchanged views on expanding cooperation with China Construction Infrastructure Co., Ltd. within the framework of Azerbaijan’s rapid digital infrastructure development, its goals to become a regional platform for artificial intelligence, advanced computing, and data centers, as well as joint initiatives across major infrastructure and digital projects.
