The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation are continuing strikes against naval assets belonging to the Ukrainian Navy and naval infrastructure in the Black Sea basin.
Sea-news.az reports that during an airstrike carried out during the day, uncrewed aerial vehicles (UAVs) targeted a Ukrainian patrol boat moving in the Black Sea waters in the southern part of Odesa.
According to Russian military sources, the patrol boat was struck by strike UAVs (kamikaze drones).
The Russian Ministry of Defense stated that the hit patrol boat was being used to escort (provide convoy services to) dry cargo ships carrying military-purposed cargo and weapons and ammunition for the Armed Forces of Ukraine to Ukrainian ports. The risks of UAV and missile strikes against maritime transport and military cutters in the southern waters of Odesa and surrounding ports remain high.
