The monograph titled “Metrology: Processing of Measurement Results, Uncertainty, and Regulatory Support,” co-authored by Professor Yusif Hasanov, Head of the Department of Applied Mechanics at the Azerbaijan State Marine Academy (ASMA), has been translated into Kazakh, published, and presented as a textbook to higher education institutions in Kazakhstan.

Sea-news.az reports that the manual was highly appreciated by scientists from Kazakhstan’s leading metrology institutes and the K.I. Satbayev Kazakh National Research Technical University. The publication of the monograph in the Kazakh language will allow it to reach a wider readership and be utilized in teaching and scientific research in the field of metrology.

The 237-page publication provides a detailed theoretical and practical explanation of topical issues in modern metrology, methods for the mathematical processing of measurement results, metrological characteristics of standards and measuring instruments, as well as the principles for establishing hierarchical systems. The book presents methods for evaluating uncertainty across various types of measurements based on the recommendations of the International Bureau of Weights and Measures (BIPM) and the International Organization of Legal Metrology (OIML), complete with concrete calculations and models.

The textbook is considered an important scientific resource for specialists working in the fields of metrology, standardization, and certification, researchers, as well as students pursuing technical specialties.
