Tofiq Mirzayev, Peoples Artist of Azerbaijan, well-known actor and director, has passed away in Israel at the age of 94.
According to sea-news.az that detailed information regarding the cause of the artists death has not yet been provided.
Tofiq Mirzayev won the deep affection of audiences through memorable characters he created in famous films included in the golden fund of Azerbaijani cinematography, such as “The Last Night of Childhood”, “Nasimi”, “Interrogation”, “Tahmina”, “Find That Girl”, and others.
Recall that for his great services to the development of the national cinema art, the artist was awarded the honorary title of “People’s Artist” and the “Shohrat” Order in 2022 by decrees of President Ilham Aliyev.
