According to him, one of President Ilham Aliyev’s most important advantages is that he draws his strength and political will from the trust of the people. The people-President unity is Azerbaijan’s greatest asset today. It is precisely thanks to this solid unity that our country has successfully emerged from the most difficult trials, achieved historic milestones, and confidently reached its strategic targets. A policy rooted in the will of the people has become the main guarantee of stability, development, and national solidarity in state governance.
“Today, President Ilham Aliyev is one of the influential statesmen accepted by the international community. The determination, principled stance, high diplomatic skill, and resolute defense of national interests by the head of our state have significantly increased our country’s international standing. In the world’s leading political centers, the President of Azerbaijan is accepted as a reliable partner, a leader true to his word, and a political figure influencing regional processes,” the MP noted.
Under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev, Azerbaijan has economically transformed into a state with financial resilience, established strategic reserves, and chosen the improvement of social welfare as one of its main priorities. Mega-projects implemented in the field of energy security, the development of the non-oil sector, the creation of modern infrastructure, and successes achieved in agriculture, industry, transport, and the digital economy have shaped our country’s sustainable development model. Today, a strong economy is one of the most important pillars of Azerbaijan’s independent policy, C. Pashazade emphasized.
C. Pashazade stressed that a strong economy has also created opportunities for strong army-building. Under the leadership of President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Ilham Aliyev, the Azerbaijan Army has turned into one of the strongest armies in the region. The brightest proof of this is the magnificent Victory achieved in the 44-day Patriotic War in 2020. The Azerbaijani people united closely around their Leader to restore historical justice; our lands were liberated from occupation, and our people’s nearly thirty-year longing came to an end. In the subsequent phase, state sovereignty was fully ensured throughout our entire country, and Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity was completely restored. This is the greatest political and military victory in modern Azerbaijani history.
Today, Azerbaijan is the leading state of the South Caucasus. Azerbaijan is the initiator and leading participant in the main energy, transport, and logistics projects implemented in the region. Our country has gained great prestige as a state that pursues an independent foreign policy, resolutely defends its national interests, and does not make decisions under any external influence. Azerbaijan is already accepted as a reliable partner shaping the regional agenda and making important contributions to international cooperation.
“In an era when wars, conflicts, terror threats, and geopolitical confrontations are increasing in various regions of the world, the preservation of stability, security, and public solidarity in Azerbaijan is one of the most important outcomes of the successful state policy implemented by President Ilham Aliyev. Stability is the main guarantee of our country’s sustainable development, economic rise, and citizens’ safe lives today.
I can say with absolute certainty that Azerbaijan has turned into the most powerful state in its history. Today, our country possesses a strong economy, a strong army, an independent policy, high international prestige, and people-government unity. All of these are the brilliant results of President Ilham Aliyev’s wise leadership, strategic vision, resolute political will, and devoted service to the Azerbaijani people,” he added.
