Starting from 16:00 Eastern Time on July 14, U.S. forces will reinstate a blockade against maritime traffic entering and exiting Iranian ports.

According to sea-news.az that this was stated in a declaration released by the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM).

It is noted that the blockade will apply to ships heading to Iranian ports and coastal areas, as well as those transiting from these territories.

“The U.S. military continues to support the safe passage of maritime traffic in regional waters for all vessels that comply with the requirements of the blockade. All mariners are advised to follow the notices to mariners when approaching the Gulf of Oman and the Strait of Hormuz, and to maintain contact with the U.S. Navy via Channel 16,” the statement emphasized.
