The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has announced that during a joint missile and drone operation conducted between 2:00 AM and 3:00 AM on Sunday, it fired ballistic missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) at eight vital U.S. military facilities—including the Ali Al-Salem Air Base in Kuwait and the Fifth Fleet at Salman Port in Bahrain—destroying them in a decisive response to America’s recent attacks.

According to sea-news.az the IRGC released this information on its Telegram channel.

The IRGC statement accused the U.S. of violating reached agreements and using the IRGC’s control over the Strait of Hormuz as a pretext for carrying out attacks:

“According to the Islamabad Memorandum, control over passage through the Strait of Hormuz is exercised by the Islamic Republic, and from now on, vessels that violate the rules will be treated more harshly than before. Any attack by the enemy, regardless of the pretext—even if directed at insignificant targets, as was the case last night and today—will receive a crushing response.”

The IRGC stated that the violation of the ceasefire is contrary to the first clause of the Islamabad Memorandum and will lead to a complete halt of all processes.

The U.S. Air Force has reportedly carried out strikes against military targets in Iran, while the IRGC has declared that it has retaliated by striking U.S. military facilities with missiles and UAVs.
