French defense and high-tech company Exail Technologies is expected to further strengthen its market position. Analysts say a €120 million investment by Safran in its Montluchon production site reflects rising demand for high-precision navigation systems, creating favorable prospects for Exail Technologies.

According to sea-news.az the company—specialized in marine robotics and navigation systems—has become a key market player after increasing its stock market value eightfold over the past 18 months.

Under its new investment program, Safran plans to increase annual production of high-precision gyroscopes to 30,000 units. These components are essential for missile systems, defense technologies, and navigation in environments where GPS signals are limited or unavailable.

Meanwhile, Exail Technologies aims to double its production capacity between 2024 and 2028, targeting around 4,000 navigation systems per year. The company expects to benefit particularly from growing orders in naval forces, unmanned maritime platforms, and ground defense systems.

Experts note that amid rising geopolitical tensions and increasing defense spending worldwide, demand for advanced navigation and defense technologies is likely to continue growing. In this context, Safran’s investment is seen as an important indicator of both sectoral growth and the future prospects of companies like Exail Technologies.
