The 2026 navigation season in Chukotka has officially begun with the arrival of the tanker “Paris” at the port waters of Anadyr Sea Port. The vessel will discharge approximately 2,800 tons of petroleum products at the port.

According to sea-news.az the terminal operating in the port is of a roadstead type, meaning loading and unloading operations are carried out in an open anchorage area using floating port equipment. This setup allows vessels of any draft to enter the area.

The main cargo flow consists of coal, which is transported both for export and to meet the domestic demand of the Chukotka and Kamchatka regions. In addition, general, liquid, and container cargo handling is also carried out, playing an important role in supplying coastal settlements.

In 2025, the total cargo turnover of the Anadyr Sea Port and its terminal infrastructure amounted to 1.42 million tons.
