At ASCO, minimizing environmental impacts during vessel operations and the functioning of shore-based facilities is one of the key priorities. To this end, waste management, emission reduction, and the strengthening of environmental safety measures remain constant areas of focus.
According to sea-news.az citing Seanews.az, within the framework of its Corporate Social Responsibility strategy, ASCO also implements various initiatives and projects aimed at environmental protection. One of the successful initiatives in this area is the “ART Plast” project, which was launched to raise awareness about the harm caused by plastic waste to nature.
Protecting nature is a responsibility we owe to future generations. Adopting an environmentally conscious approach, using natural resources efficiently, and contributing to the preservation of ecological balance are important duties that belong to all of us.
