Trade turnover between Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan totaled $140.2 million in the first half of 2025, according to the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan.
Turkmenistan accounted for 0.57% of Azerbaijan’s total foreign trade during the six-month period, as Trend News Agency reported on Thursday.
Azerbaijan’s exports to Turkmenistan amounted to $30.3 million, while imports from Turkmenistan totaled $109.8 million.
Non-oil exports from Azerbaijan to Turkmenistan reached $29.5 million, making up 1.68% of the country’s total non-oil exports. Turkmenistan ranked among the top 10 importers of Azerbaijani non-oil products.
Azerbaijan’s total foreign trade in January–June 2025 stood at $24.4 billion, with $12.88 billion in exports and $11.52 billion in imports. As a result, the country recorded a foreign trade surplus of $1.36 billion.
