A new group of students has started classes for the Robotics, Coding, and STEAM course “Roboport” organized for Alat schoolchildren at the Port of Baku

The course, called Roboportbaku, gives students the opportunity to develop 21st century skills and grow the technology manufacturers of the future. This project, initiated by the Port of Baku, aims to teach and develop basic knowledge related to coding and technology to children from an early age. The course operating under the slogan “Engineers of the future grow here” is equipped with modern technological equipment and participants will be involved in practical training by local and foreign professionals.

The first group of students, which began in February 2024, graduated in August. A total of 24 students, divided into 2 groups, participated in this course. After the successful start of the first group, the lessons for the new group have begun. A total of 122 students from the Alat settlement have participated in the survey regarding enrollment in the new course. 24 children were selected. It should be noted that the “Roboport” course consists of 7 modules and lasts for 6 months. Each module is designed to develop students in different areas of skills and knowledge, and by the end of the course, participants will have acquired both theoretical and practical knowledge.
