Six Years Since Missile Attack on Garayusifli Village of Barda

25

Today marks six years since the missile shelling of the Garayusifli village in the Barda region by the Armenian armed forces.

Sea-news.az recalls that Armenia launched strikes on Garayusifli using cluster munitions banned under international law.

As a result, five civilians—including women and children—were killed, and 14 civilians sustained injuries.

It should be noted that during the 44-day war, the Azerbaijani Army avenged the innocent civilians on the battlefield.

To recall, as a result of the bombardment of Barda city with missile and heavy artillery attacks on October 5, 8, 27, 28, and November 7, 2020, 29 people were intentionally killed (8 women, 19 men, 2 children), 112 people were injured (26 women, 71 men, 15 children), and extensive damage was inflicted on civil infrastructure facilities, transport vehicles, residential buildings, and other structures in the city.
