A vessel transiting through the Strait of Hormuz has been struck by a cruise missile.
Sea-news.az reports this citing the “Fars” news agency.
“Initial reports indicate an explosion in the Strait of Hormuz. This explosion occurred as a result of an anti-ship cruise missile launch,” the agency quoted “BeamTracker Military OSINT” as saying.
It should be recalled that the Iranian side claims oil tankers hit sea mines in the Strait of Hormuz, while the United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) asserts that the vessels were struck by an unknown projectile. However, UKMTO has not yet issued a report regarding the incident published by the “Fars” news agency.
