A delegation from Saudi Arabia visited the “Surakhani” ship museum, where they were introduced to the history of navigation in the Caspian Sea, the activities of Azerbaijani seafarers, and the development stages of the national fleet.
The guests were informed that the “Surakhani” tanker, now operating as a museum, holds special significance in preserving and promoting Azerbaijan’s maritime heritage.
During the visit, the delegation toured various sections of the vessel and explored the exhibits on display. They were also provided with detailed information about the ship’s operational history, technical specifications, and its transformation into a museum.
