The Vessel Traffic Management Center of the State Maritime and Port Agency under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport has issued a warning to ships regarding windy weather conditions.
According to the warning, the northwestern and northern winds observed in the Caspian Sea area since the evening of April 27 are expected to continue until April 29. During this period, winds are forecast to strengthen to 18–23 m/s, occasionally reaching 25–28 m/s, and up to 30 m/s in open sea areas.
Wave heights are expected to reach 3.5–4.5 meters.
