AZN 20 mln. allocated to Baku International Sea Trade Port CJSC

President Ilham Aliyev has signed an Order on additional measures to increase the cargo handling capacity of the Baku International Sea Trade Port, APA reports.

According to the Order, in connection with the establishment of a special project management office for the construction of the 2nd phase of the port expansion to increase the cargo handling capacity of the Baku International Sea Trade Port by 10 million tons to 25 million tons, 20 million manats have been allocated to the “Baku International Sea Trade Port” Closed Joint Stock Company from the reserve fund of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, envisaged in the 2024 state budget of the Republic of Azerbaijan, to increase the authorized capital.

The Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Azerbaijan shall provide financing in the amount specified in Part 1 of this Order, and the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan shall resolve the issues arising from this Order.

This Order shall enter into force on the date of its signing.
