Serpay tugboat facilitating bunkering services for foreign vessels.
Marine Merchant Fleet JSC in Turkmenistan now offers diesel bunkering services to foreign vessels docking at the Turkmenbashi International Seaport.
As reported by the Türkmendeňizderýaýollary (Turkmen Maritime and River Roads) agency on Thursday, the bunkering is conducted by the Serpay tugboat at the berths of the seaport.
After completing the bunkering process, the vessels are granted the opportunity to resume their journey along the designated route.
In 2023, the total cargo volume transported by the Marine Merchant Fleet vessels experienced a notable increase of 19.7 percent compared to 2022, reaching a total of 2 million 261 tons.
