One of the crew members of a dry cargo ship that left Russia’s Novorossiysk towards the Turkish port of Iskenderun has disappeared in the international waters of the Black Sea. Presumably, the sailor fell into the sea while cleaning, Report informs referring to the Haber Global TV channel.

“A 180-meter-long bulk carrier with 23 Turkish crew members on board was traveling from the Russian port of Novorossiysk to the port of Iskenderun (…). While sailing in international waters, the Turkish sailor in charge of cleaning disappeared. The remaining crew members searched on board, but didn’t find him,” the TV channel reported.

The captain of the ship informed the coast guard about the incident, and boats and a helicopter were sent to the scene. The ship stopped moving while searching for the man.
