International Shipping Line center to be created in Baku port

An international Shipping Line center and its depot are planned to be created in the Baku International Sea Trade Port CJSC, head of the department of strategic planning and development of Baku International Sea Trade Port CJSC Khudayar Hasanli told Report.

According to him, negotiations are underway on this matter with a number of companies: “There is already a preliminary agreement.”

Hasanli said that cargo from Central Asia cannot be transported in regional containers to third countries: “They must be unloaded and then re-loaded onto Shipping Line containers. We are creating a Shipping Line center to ensure flawless shipment of goods to anywhere in the world. Shipping Line has centers and depots around the world and can store containers in these depots.”

Shipping Line is a company that specializes in container logistics and transports 95% of cargo worldwide.
