Today, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Azerbaijan Badminton Federation and the Badminton Federation of Malaysia, one of the pioneers in this sport.
According to the memorandum signed between the President of the Azerbaijan Badminton Federation Dr.Taleh Ziyadov and the President of the Malaysian Badminton Federation Mohamad Norza Zakaria, a cooperation program will be implemented between the parties in many fields.
In this framework, in order to increase the level of training of badminton players, it is planned to hold joint training camps, organize courses for the improvement of coaches, train referees, exchange training and knowledge in the fields of development and management of sports infrastructure, as well as joint activities in other directions. It should be noted that since March of this year, our junior badminton players Ulvi Huseynov, Amirkhan Imanov and Amina Ismayilova have been continuously participating in training camps at the Petronans Malaysia Badminton Academy for 2023-2024, increasing their level of professionalism and continuing their secondary education at that academy.
Last month, Dr.Taleh Ziyadov, who attended the annual meeting of the Badminton World Federation (BWF) in Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia, met with our badminton players and was interested in their conditions and level of training in the academy.
