Caspian Marine Services B.V. company announces a Legal and Contracts Specialist position vacancy.

Evaluates or monitor contract performance to determine the necessity for amendments or extensions of contracts and compliance with contractual obligations.
Arbitrates claims or complaints occurring in the performance of contracts.
Analyses price proposals, financial reports, and other data to determine the reasonableness of prices.
Serves as liaison officer to ensure fulfillment of obligations by contractors.
Interprets and applies laws, regulations, policies, standards, or procedures to specific issues.
Implement new or revised laws, regulations, policies, standards, or procedures.
Develops and prepares the most complex Request for Proposals (RFP), Requests for Information (RFI), and complicated bid documents.
Serves as an expert resource for the company on policies and procedures related to procurement and contracting.
Maintains and keeps current an electronic library of contract/agreement templates approved by the Commercial and Legal Manager for use by all staff. Ensures templates meet all applicable international conventions and local laws and regulations.
Assists line manager, project management, and Operations/Technical teams with various duties including providing subject matter expertise on contractual matters.
Ensures contract compliance with business commitments, company policies, laws, and regulations.
Negotiating and agreeing on Contracts on behalf of the Company as directed by the Commercial and Legal manager.
Ensures that all Contract documentation is reviewed and updated as required.
Provide operational support and advice to management and staff in relation to contracting and contractor management.
Preparation of service agreements, time-charter, and bareboat charter contracts.
Undertakes due diligence in mitigating all risks in contract execution.
University Degree / Diploma in Law with at least 3 years experience in legal/contract administration activity.
Knowledge of Azerbaijani and international legislation.
Ability to work with contracts and other legal documents.
Skills in legal review, contract administration, and preparation of draft contracts.
Advanced PC user: knowledge of such programs as MS Office, and Adobe PDF editor, experience of work with Procurement and/or Contract Management software (incl. web-based).
Perfect negotiation skills.
Fluent in English, Azerbaijani, and Russian (writing skills in all three languages are critical).
Teamwork, pro-activity, quality-focused, detail-oriented, high level of accuracy, diligence, and self-motivation.
The duration of the employment contract is one year with further extension.
Work schedule would typically be 5 working days (Monday-Friday).
Primary place of work will be CMS BV office (N.Aliyev 38A, Baku).
