Work continues to extinguish fire at Turkiye’s Iskenderun port

Work continues in the Turkish port of Iskenderun to extinguish the fire that broke out on February 6 after the earthquake. From time to time, sounds of explosions are heard at the port, Report informs via Turkish media.

Aviation of the Turkish Ministry of Defense is also involved in firefighting.

The fire broke out on Monday evening in containers with cargo that turned over during the earthquake.

Now the port is shut down as its infrastructure was damaged during the earthquake.
