BOTAS International Limited, which has been operating the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline in Turkey since early 2021, has transported 174.22 million barrels of crude oil from the Ceyhan terminal, Report informs, citing the company.
The crude oil was loaded on 242 tankers and distributed to world markets.
To date, in total, over 3.74 billion barrels of crude oil have been loaded to 4,901 tankers from the port.
BOTAS International Ltd was authorized to operate BTC in Turkey in 2001. The first tanker was loaded with crude oil from BTC at the Ceyhan terminal on June 2, 2006.
