Job Title: Quality Lead
Ensuring quality management commitments are implemented and maintained in all work.
Liaise with project management to ensure project Quality deliverables are maintained and are in line with project schedule requirements
Supervise and assist with the maintenance of Quality records including conducting a review and approval of vendor/subcontractor Quality documentation & bid evaluations
Supervise and conduct quality capability assessment of vendors/subcontractors as required
Drive the use of the WGPSN IMPact database throughout the contract;
Using data from IMPact to target areas for improvement;
Monitoring work performance against agreed objectives, legislative standards, procedures, policies and standards and implementing improvements where necessary;
Promoting client feedback and monitoring improvement actions identified in response to the feedback provided
Ensure quarterly self-verification audits are completed on processes and certification
Interface with P&M to ensure RFQ, Criticality Rating , SDRL’s and vendor certification reviewed and approved as appropriate
Coordinate call off of Third Party Inspection as determined by Criticality Rating and engineering review
Required work experience
10 + years relevant experience (Preferably in the Oil/Gas /Petrochemical industry).Previous Experience in a Lead or management position
Minimum HNC Quality Management or relevant related discipline
Quality Auditor Qualification by recognized industry body
Internal: Effective 2-way communicator, comfortable with presentation of Quality presentations and programmes, able to build strong working relationships with peers and capable of mentoring National personnel.
External: Effective 2-way communicator, comfortable in both Client and other 3rd party environments; able to build exemplary working relationship with Client and other Stakeholders.
