The Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) has started cleaning works in order to eliminate the complications developed on Boyuk Shor lake in Baku City by instruction of Azerbaijan’s First vice-president Mehriban Aliyeva, the Ministry told APA.
Currently, the process of cleaning of the slops layer on the lake is being conducted.
The equipment and the personnel of MES have been brought to the scene of incident. Currently, the wastes in the lake are being pulled out and removed from this territory.
Note that a few days ago, the sharp odor shrouded Baku City. The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources disseminating a statement in this regard noted that the reason of the sharp odor was associated with Boyuk Shor lake in Baku.
