Built at the Baku shipyard upon the request of Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping CJSC (ASCO), the Lachin tanker is on the list of the best ships in the world.
According to the list of the Royal Institution of Naval Architects (RINA), Lachin was one of the top 50 civilian vessels in the world built in 2019.
The vessel “Lachin”, distinguished by its peculiar design, was built by local specialists on the basis of the Odessa Bureau of Marine Engineering design. The ship is 141 meters long and 16.9 meters wide.
It should be noted that the Lachin tanker was commissioned on December 13 last year with the participation of President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev. This is the first tanker built at the Baku Shipyard.
