Employees of the Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping CJSC (ASCO) have joined the #stayhome campaign launched by the World Health Organization (WHO) representation in Azerbaijan in connection with coronavirus.

All ASCO structures supported the campaign.

Sailors of the Marine Transport Fleet, sailing both in the Caspian Sea and in international waters, shared videos with the appeal to people: “We work day and night to ensure the continuity of cargo transportation. And you try to stay home for us. ” (https://www.facebook.com/ASCO.Azerbaijan.Official/videos/596856684235020/)

The sailors of the Caspian Sea Oil Fleet called on everyone with the words “We are working with our oilmen brothers to maintain stable oil and gas production at the sea. Try to stay home to maintain your health and safety. ” (https://www.facebook.com/ASCO.Azerbaijan.Official/videos/1091198197904843/)

Students of the Azerbaijan State Marine Academy, both at home and on an internship, also joined the campaign. They shot a video and asked citizens to stay at home. (https://www.facebook.com/ASCO.Azerbaijan.Official/videos/666683180755420/)

Along with that, the sailors unfurled posters with the call: “We stayed on the ship, and you stay at home.”

The goal of the #stayhome campaign is to draw the attention of population to the rules of social exclusion applied by decision of the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers and to urge people not to leave home unnecessarily.

We seafarers once again call on everyone to stay home for reducing the risk of coronavirus infection.
