Board of Directors of the Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company (ASCO) conducted first meeting of the current year with a group of the Caspian Sea Oil Fleet sailors.
During the meeting organized upon the initiative of ASCO Chairman Rauf Valiyev, sailors received answers to the questions interesting them.
Chairman noted that improving the working environment and social welfare of the employees and enhancing the professionalism of seafarers had always been an important issue for him. To reach these aims a number of continuous activities are taking place.
Rauf Valiyev also talked about ASCO’s strategic targets. He mentioned that many achievements were attained in this regard. Stating that there is much work to be done in the future, Chairman expressed his confidence in sailors in connection with the issue.
ASCO Chairman has emphasized the importance of providing assistance to employees who had recently started working. “Experienced sailors should always provide assistance to young crew staff. It should be taken into account that educated and young sailors in our renewed and modernized fleets can lead to greater success,” – told Chairman.
During the discussions, it was highlighted that attention and care towards sailors is increasing year by year, great achievements were attained in this sphere under the guidance of President Ilham Aliyev.
At the meeting, sailors expressed their gratitude for the attention and care towards them.
It was mentioned that such kind of meetings would be conducted regularly.
