A subsidiary of Azerbaijan Railways CJSC – ADY Container LLC- begins launching direct railway container transportation from Astara (Iran) – Astara (Azerbaijan) station to Azerbaijan’s interal stations of Sumgait, Ganja and Absheron as well as external stations in Tbilisi (Georgia), Aktau (Kazakhstan), Moscow (Russia), Odessa (Ukraine) and Constanta (Romania). The transportation is carried out in 20, 40 and 45 feet type containers.
