“The Caspian littoral states will sign an agreement on division of the water surface,” deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Khalaf Khalafov has told journalists.
He noted that a draft convention entails principles for division of the Caspian’s water surface.
“According to the draft convention, 15 miles of the Caspian Sea waters are outlined as a zone of territorial waters, 10 miles as a fishing zone, while the remaining part is intended for common use,” the deputy FM added.
