A cargo ship has run aground near Cilingoz Beach in the Catalca district of Istanbul amid severe weather conditions in the Black Sea.
Sea-news.az reports to NTV, citing the Turkish Coast Guard, the vessel drifted toward the shore due to strong gale-force winds affecting the area.
Emergency response teams from the Coast Guard and the Directorate General of Coastal Safety were dispatched to the scene. No casualties or environmental pollution have been reported, and technical teams have initiated preparations to salvage the stranded ship.
