Iran’s oil exports have practically come to a complete halt amid current conditions, US sanctions, and the ongoing blockade.

Sea-news.az reports citing the Mehr news agency, that Central Bank of Iran Governor Abdolnasser Hemmati made an official statement regarding the matter.

The head of the Central Bank acknowledged that under existing foreign pressures and the sanctions regime, the country’s oil exports have effectively stalled.

Abdolnasser Hemmati emphasized that thanks to the government’s proactive planning, the country possesses sufficient foreign exchange reserves, and no shortages of products or goods are currently observed in the domestic market.
