International Social Entrepreneurship Project from SİTODED: Youth Workers Gathered in Baku

Baku, Azerbaijan – July 23, 2025 –

The Civil Society Support Association (SİTODED) from Türkiye is implementing a significant Erasmus+ Youth Workers Mobility Project in Baku, Azerbaijan, with the support of the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Directorate for EU Affairs, and the Turkish National Agency. Hosted by the local partner “Support to the Development of New Technologies Public Union,” the project aims to empower youth workers in the field of social entrepreneurship. The social entrepreneurship training module, specially prepared by SİTODED, is at the core of the project.

This innovative module aims to equip participating youth workers with the skills to develop sustainable and creative solutions to social problems. The project brings together a total of 25 youth workers from Hungary, Bulgaria, Greece, Georgia, Jordan, Azerbaijan, and Türkiye. This international participation allows for the sharing of diverse cultural perspectives and experiences, thereby increasing the scope and impact of the project.

Youth workers who successfully complete the training course will transfer the knowledge and experience they gain to young people in their own countries, thus spreading social entrepreneurship awareness. In this way, the project’s impact will not be limited to Baku but will reach the younger generations of the participating countries, making significant contributions to social development. SİTODED officials stated that the project is of great importance not only for increasing the capacities of youth workers but also for strengthening international cooperation and contributing to the development of the social entrepreneurship ecosystem.
