A delegation from Azerbaijan, led by Valeh Alasgarov, Chairman of the Alat Free Economic Zone (FEZ) Authority, is currently on a working visit to South Korea.
Report informs, citing the the Azerbaijani Embassy in South Korea on X, that the delegation met with Yun Wok Sok, Commissioner of the Incheon Free Economic Zone Administration. During the meeting, both sides exchanged valuable information, insights, and experiences on the development of free economic zones (FEZs).

The delegation also held talks with Kim Gi-Hyun, Vice President of the Korean International Trade Association, and Jihyung Lee, Executive Vice President of the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA). These discussions focused on the potential for attracting South Korean companies to participate in various projects within the Alat FEZ.
The event, titled “Alat Free Economic Zone: Unlocking the Potential for Korean Manufacturing Companies,” was attended by representatives from South Korea’s government agencies, business associations, companies, research institutes, and media. Valeh Alasgarov and Ramin Hasanov, the Azerbaijani Ambassador to South Korea, made the opening remarks.
