A draft of new regulations governing cargo operations in seaports and port facilities related to the export of oil, petroleum products, and petrochemical goods has been prepared in Turkmenistan, as announced by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Batyr Amanov during a regular government meeting on Thursday, according to Turkmenistan’s state news agency.
The document was developed in cooperation with relevant state bodies and aims to improve the efficiency of logistics processes in the fuel and energy sector.
President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the importance of comprehensive development of the oil and gas industry, including the enhancement of export infrastructure. After approving the presented draft, the head of state instructed the Vice Prime Minister to ensure the implementation of the planned measures.
The government meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers also addressed a number of other matters related to state affairs.
