Sara Logistics has extensive experience in the field of freight transportation and serves as the principal freight forwarder for Azerbaijan Railways, providing high-quality cargo services across all modes of transport. The company operates along major international routes, including the North-South corridor and the Middle Corridor. Its core business lies in rail transportation. The rolling stock includes 104 fitting platforms, 200 covered wagons, and various other leased wagons, bringing the total number of wagons to over 400 units. Additionally, the company owns the Zira Port, which facilitates transit shipments from Central and Middle Asian countries.
As is well known, the key freight route today is from China to Europe. We are staying ahead of the curve and actively expanding our operations along this route. Whereas in the past, Chinese cargo was mainly routed through Kazakhstani logistics companies, we are now signing direct agreements, particularly with China Railway. We are also increasing the volume of road freight transportation.
I would also like to touch on the importance of industry exhibitions. Our sector is highly competitive, and to remain relevant, effective marketing strategies are essential. One of the key areas in this regard is our participation in the TransCaspian exhibition. Our consistent involvement in this event over recent years has reliably translated into client base growth and increased profitability. The negotiations held at this year’s event already promise significant advancements in our business operations.
In recent years, the TransCaspian exhibition has become an integral part of Baku Energy Week, which also includes the Caspian Oil & Gas exhibition, marking its 30th anniversary this year. I would like to extend my congratulations to all the organizers on this milestone. Bringing together leading oil and gas industry players for so many years is both a demanding task and a major achievement. It also serves as a clear indicator of the relevance and importance of the exhibition. I wish Caspian Oil & Gas continued success and growth.
