The Chairman of the ASCO Board, Rauf Valiyev, met with the delegation of Uzbekistan led by Bekzod Kholmatov, Director of the Center for the Study of Transport and Logistics Development under the Ministry of Transport of Uzbekistan, who is on a visit to Azerbaijan.
The delegation, consisting of representatives from the Ministry of Transport of Uzbekistan and Uzbekistan Railways, was provided with detailed information about key initiatives implemented in Azerbaijan in the field of transport and logistics, as well as ASCO’s activities.
During the meeting, the significance and relevance of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Corridor (Middle Corridor) were discussed. As part of the corridor’s development, discussions focused on strengthening Uzbekistan-Azerbaijan transport links across the Caspian Sea, including addressing new challenges in the ferry transportation segment.
