The history of the Caspian Sea Oil Fleet coincides with the establishment of offshore oil extraction in Azerbaijan. 

When the fleet was founded in 𝟏𝟗𝟒𝟗, it primarily consisted of small shallow-water vessels, modest-sized tugboats, supply vessels, and a few crane ships.

Today, includes more than 𝟏𝟔𝟎 vessels of various types. These ships, and the dedicated seafarers who operate them, play a significant role in the oil and gas projects carried out in the Caspian Sea.
